Laxmi Agarwal is an Indian Acid Attack Survivor, Social Activist, Stop Acid Attack Campaigner and Television Host from New Delhi, India. 

Laxmi has also started the “Stop Acid Sale” campaign to ban the sale of Acid in the Indian Market. Along with this, she regularly involves many woman empowerment events all over the world.

Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor, is a campaigner who stands for the rights of the acid attack victims. Laxmi was just fifteen-year-old when she was attacked with acid by a 32-year-old man whose advances she had rejected. She had to undergo multiple surgeries and was in the hospital for 3 months. Laxmi came out stronger after this horrific incident and the Supreme Court ruled in favour of her plea and imposed restrictions on the sale of acid. She has been honoured with the International Women of Courage Award by former First Lady Michelle Obama for her bravery and selfless work
